Oh...poor Arthur. I have the feeling that he's misunderstanding (I'm thinking Cobb probably spoke to Eames about Eames' behavior, not about Arthur's. Possibly.) I continue to love love love this fic, and am so impressed with the way you're taking the story. I have to admit that the teacher/student dynamic is a semi-squick for me, just because of the power distribution, but the way that you'e presenting Arthur and Eames' relationship so far feels completely normal and lovely. I love the end bit about Eames' sort-of forging Maurice- your writing is so lovely and you make Arthur sound believably beyond-his-years. Thanks so much for sharing and I cannot wait until the next chapter!
