ladyvaderI just sat down after work to (yay) update this and basically to chill out a tad, so I let my Realplayer run on random and it suddenly picks up this old soundbyte I'd forgotten I ever had.... I'm still shivering... I'm a trekkie although that has very little to with the quote, it from Moby Dick (a book I despise for its content and worship for its passion)read aloud by Captain Picard (who has a great voice) and he says:
"And he piled upon the whales white hump, a sum of all the rage and hate felt by his entire race.....If his chest had been a cannon, he would have shot his heart upon it."
Its not the hate that inspires me, its all the passion, the literal idea of feling so much that the only way to portray it would be to eject your heart from your body with great speed ... Have you ever felt like that? No words, just simple shaking from your toes to your fingertips... I think when it comes down to it I would love to be able to simply aim my heart at someone and hope they feel the force behind it when it hit.
Wow... what an odd thing to type.
I sat down to chill out but now I feel tense,coiled like I'm ready to strike but there's nothing to strike at.... hmmmmmm... no more coffee to warm me up after work methinks!
Grrrrrr.... my parents spirited away my extended copy of LotR, lent it to m stepsister the cheeky sods! I haven't even watched it yet! Not that it makes a difference (grumble) s'not a DVD so I'll have to gatecrash a mates house for the extras... teee heee, I know exactly the mate to hit too.... har har... I just happen to have an extra Aragorn poster and she's a huge fan... shame that! hehehe....
Here's hoping this entry is a little more normal than my others(fat chance)
