Draco is just so fantastically immature and vulnerable despite his massive vocabulary and extensive rationalisings of his actions and Harry is his usual gorgeous diamond in the rough type self... I confess its leather clad Harry & Draco in a skirt but don't let it put you off, its a nice read and if nothing else it'll leave you smiling through the wrapping and last minute gift buying frenzies.

On a more coherent note, I see Draco as being rather maturely immature, if that makes sense.
To me, being a diamond in the rough always sounds very inconvenient. Though, being a faceted diamond makes for sharper edges and less general cuddliness. So, maybe that's Draco, then? ;)
No, I don't quite understand myself half the time either.
Remember, Harry didn't dress himself in leather (I did, to be perfectly frank, because I'm frankly perverted) and the skirt is ... traditional. Like a Wizard kilt, sortafing. *grins innocently*
Though I have to admit, I have a predilection for putting Malfoy in a skirt. I like destabilising gender roles in my fiction. Also, Draco is often seen as 'the feminine one' in fandom, which I disagree with. It was my intention to show that you can put Draco in a skirt and still keep him male. Don't know if I succeeded, though. It's difficult to evaluate, really, considering the debatable status of gender definitions on the whole.
*am academic nerd. sorry*

As for leatherclad Harry, I confess it's a personal fave of mine and much of my fic writing time is spent resisting the urge to stuff the boy back into chaps (oo-er bad turn of phrase methinks) but a lot of the peeps on my friends list told me off for putting him in leather in my fic 'Matinee' (damn them :P) and half the people I know ADORE Draco in a skit and half hate it so you se I had to warnpeople t keep from beingnitpicked about my recs. ;)
Personally I thought your Draco was wonderful, just snarky enough for canon and adorably sexy for fanon and I definitly approve of the attire. I don't see Draco as the 'girl' as many do but I confess I've been known to crossdress him for his and my own amusement so it was great to see someone dress him so intrinsically 'Draco' yet still blur the gender boundry clotheswise.
